Re: [Parking Charge Notice number]

Dear Sir/Madam,
I am writing this letter to express my resentment.
I recently applied this parking penalty which was unfairly given to me during the Jubilee bank holiday on Tuesday 5th June 2012. On the day of the incident, I bought the amount I was stated on the machine.
On the Machine it stated £2.80 will cover until 23.59 pm, I paid £3.00 and for some reason, the machine printed the ticket with the expiry time of 17.18PM, this was quite shocking as my friend who parked just right behind me paid a lest amount of £2.90 and received ticket that printed an expiry time of 23:59PM.
That fact that my apple was rejected was very careless, and the fact that [Local Council] refuse to recognize the Queen's Jubilee is very offensive, as well as [Local Council] not programming the machines or train their warden staff to recognize that on 5th June was the Queen's bank holiday is disconcerting.
As a result of the charge forced upon me, I would like to request that [Local Council] drop the charger and refund the amount (£0.20) owed to me. Refusing to drop this charge will only be causing me a lot of stress, and I will continue to appeal until this fine is dropped. This fine has already caused me trauma as well as adding to my current blood pressure levels
I would be much appreciated if you could investigate this parking offense as I know for a fact that this is incorrect, unjustifiable and bad for my health
I look forward to your positive response.
Yours sincerely
